Looking for people who are highly motivated, work well on a team, and are organized with good time management skills. You must have a positive attitude and possess good communication skills. Prior cooking experience not necessary. Food handler’s certification is recommended.
Overall duties include: cooking with an oven, induction burners and use of steam tables; learning proper processes for set up, turn over and cleaning; assisting with food prep; properly adhering to cleaning schedules and practices; correct food rotation and preparation.
You will need to pass a menu, work manual and general kitchen knowledge test, all information of which will be provided to you. WHMIS training is provided.
You will be trained on the salad station as well and be responsible for knowing how to prepare all food items for that station.
